Welcome to Project Satori!

Mission Statement

As a collective, we are committed to facilitating psychological healing and comprehensive mental health care for women suffering physical abuse and sexual exploitation in the third world. In addition, we are committed to raising global consciousness about the numerous human rights violations endured by women worldwide, and to creating educational materials focused on helping third world communities understand the implications of domestic violence, rape, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and emotional and mental health from a culturally sensitive psycho-therapeutic perspective.

Indhushree Rajan is the creator of Project Satori, and also the director of "Transformations for Women" with The Xrysalis Foundation. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in depth oriented, clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, Ca., U.S.A.
